Jobs
Thank you for your interest in working at the farm!
Positions for the 2025 season have been filled.
Small scale farming is dynamic, full of beauty, challenging and rewarding. I am seeking hard-working and fun people who will work alongside me at the farm for the season to grow food and flowers for our amazing Cashmere community. Our farm is very small and entirely hand-tended, which means work days are often physically strenuous and sometimes repetitive, so interest in working outside in the elements with your body is essential.
Primary Tasks
The primary focus, especially come mid-summer, will be harvesting, washing and packing produce. This position will also include transplanting, spreading compost, packing CSA boxes, creating new beds, fulfilling orders, weeding, trellising, pruning, washing bins, seed starting, removing past crops, and more. If you have a particular topic or task of interest, please let me know; I will do my very best to provide focus on this area.
Hours and Schedule
This is a seasonal, part-time position, beginning in the last week of April and ending in the last week of October. Work days for the season are Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays; when you apply please let me know which days you would like to work. You can apply for one day a week, two days a week or three days a week.
Work times vary throughout the season as the weather changes but are generally as follows:
April and May: 9:00 to 4:00
June: 8:00 to 3:00
July to early September: 6:00 or 7:00 depending on temperatures to 1:00 or 2:00
Mid September to October: 8:30 to 4:30
Please plan to bring your lunch, snacks, water bottle, layers of clothing and sun protection with you to work each day.
